What is Solenoid? A solenoid is an electrical component that converts electrical energy into mechanical work based on the principle of generating a magnetic field by passing an electric current through a copper wire, which attracts a magnetic moving iron core. There are two types of solenoids: linear solenoids, which operate in a linear direction, and rotary solenoids, which operate in a rotary direction.

Takano rotary solenoid: Takano’s rotary solenoids use cylindrical permanent magnet as the rotor and produce true rotational motion from the repulsive and attractive forces induced between the permanent magnet and the magnetic poles in the yoke. Even after de-energization, the solenoids stay in position using the holding force of the permanent magnet. Unlike conventional rotary solenoids built to mechanically convert the back-and-forth linear motion (thrust-direction motion) of the shaft into rotational motion, our rotary solenoids produce rotational motion with no axial movement of the shaft and hence have a longer life.

Takano Latching Solenoid: Takano Latching Solenoids are self-holding linear latching solenoids which maintain its position only with magnetic force and performs linear axial movement by electrical pulse. It’s energy efficient with low heat generation. There are either bi-stable type or mono-stable type based on the type of circuit.

We use hygienic valves with reduced contaminants, and the gas contact parts are oil-free and manufactured in the clean room.

Cleanroom: we have a proper clean room assembly area and testing capabilities. The processed parts are cleaned and transferred to the clean room.
